Yarken gives teams many ways to review technology spend, including Home, dashboards, reports, Analytics, Cost Explorer, Custom Dashboards, Planning, Business Cases, and Chargeback. Navigation and filters help users move between these areas without losing the context of what they are analyzing.

Filters help narrow the view by dimensions such as entity, time period, account, cost center, vendor, application, tower, consumer, and other reporting attributes.

Search helps users find the dashboards, reports, and resources they need faster.

Global filters

Global filters apply across dashboards and reports and remain active as users move through the application.

They help keep analysis consistent. If a user is reviewing a specific entity, time period, or reporting context, global filters help preserve that view while moving between related dashboards and reports.

Entity filtering is especially important for organizations operating across multiple regions, business units, or legal entities. The Entity filter helps users focus reporting and analytics on one or more entities while respecting the access they have been granted.

Dashboard and report filters

Dashboards and reports include filters that help users narrow the data shown on a specific page.

Users can select filter values from searchable lists and apply filters to focus the view. Some filters are shown by default, while others may be available as additional filters depending on the dashboard or report.

When a user drills from a chart into a report, filters may be applied automatically based on the selected context. This helps the user move from summary view to detailed analysis without rebuilding the filter path manually.
