See what’s planned for the next Yarken release.

Planned release: September 15, 2026

Release date and planned features may change before the update goes live.

Cloud access, dashboards, and chart enhancements

The next Yarken update adds more control over Cloud data access and introduces new options for organizing and visualizing Custom Dashboard data.

Access Policies for Cloud data

Administrators will be able to control which Cloud data non-admin users can access by assigning an Access Policy.

Access Policies use supported Cloud attributes to filter the data available to each user, giving administrators more granular control over Cloud spend visibility.

What to expect

  • Attribute-based access: Define policies using supported Cloud dimensions, such as application, team, service, or other available attributes.

  • User-level control: Assign an Access Policy to a user from User Management.

  • Restricted access for new users: New non-admin users require an Access Policy before they can access Cloud data.

Administrator action: After the release, review Cloud access for affected users and assign the appropriate Access Policies where required.

Publish and organize Custom Dashboards

A new publishing workflow will provide more control over how Custom Dashboards are shared and organized.

  • Publish dashboards: Move a dashboard from Private to Published to make it available from the main navigation menu.

  • Organize dashboards: Group published dashboards using a two-level folder structure.

  • Control menu order: Administrators can define the order in which dashboards and folders appear in the navigation menu.

Top N and Other grouping for charts

Custom Dashboard and Analytics charts will provide more control over which values are displayed, helping you keep visualizations focused and easier to read.

  • Show Top N values: Limit the visualization to the highest values based on the selected metric.

  • Group remaining values: Automatically combine values outside the selected limit under Other while retaining them in the overall result.

  • Focus chart content: Reduce visual clutter when working with dimensions that contain many values.

Enhancements to Proportional Bar charts

The Proportional Bar visualization will include improved measure handling, bar sizing, themes, and dashboard link and drill-down support.
