Cloud Service Spend (Cloud Services)

The Service Spend report provides a detailed view of cloud billed costs for a selected service, helping you analyze spend trends and drill into cost drivers across time, resource types, billing accounts, and regions

This report is accessed by drilling down from the Top 20 Services chart in the Cloud Services dashboard and is scoped to a selected service.

Charts and tables

Selecting any data point in a chart allows you to drill down into a more detailed view of the selected element.

Monthly Spend

This chart shows the month-on-month and the cumulative year to date cloud billed costs. Cloud billed cost is shown as total spend and prior year cloud spend for each month. The cumulative dotted line predicts cost for future months based on historic cloud billed cost.

Resource Types

The Resource Types chart displays a breakdown of cloud billed costs by resource type for the selected service. The cloud billed cost for each resource type is shown as cloud billed cost YTD and prior year YTD.

Billing Accounts

The Billing Accounts chart shows a breakdown of cloud billed costs by billing accounts. The cloud billed costs for each billing account is shown as spend YTD and prior year YTD. The billing accounts are shown with name and billing account ID.

Top 20 Regions

The Top 20 Regions chart highlights the regions with the highest cloud billed costs, ranked from highest to lowest. For each region, the chart shows spend YTD, prior year spend YTD, and spend variance.

This table provides a monthly breakdown of cloud billed costs for the selected service. Cloud spend is shown as billed cost, prior year billed cost and variance for each month.
