What Copilots do

In the current AI settings area, Copilots mainly refers to Graph Explanation Copilot.

Graph Explanation Copilot explains a dashboard chart or table using:

• Widget title.

• Widget description.

• Data behind the visual.

• Applied filters.

It helps users understand what a chart shows.

How this differs from Ask Yarken

Graph Explanation Copilot and Ask Yarken serve different purposes.

Graph Explanation Copilot explains the selected widget. Ask Yarken supports broader technology finance analysis.

What admins can control

Administrators can:

1. Turn Graph Explanation Copilot on or off.

2. Add Graph Explanation Context.

3. Save the context used to guide explanations.

The widget author must also turn on Copilot for the dashboard widget before users can use it on that chart.

Graph Explanation Context

Use Graph Explanation Context to guide how chart explanations should be written.

Use it for:

• Financial terminology.

• Variance explanation style.

• Filter interpretation.

• Preferred emphasis, such as budget impact or operational drivers.

Keep the context short and specific.
