Solution TCO | Yarken Help

The Solution TCO dashboard provides a detailed breakdown of total cost of ownership (TCO) for a selected solution offering. It enables you to analyze the selected solution offering total spend, year-to-date (YTD) spend, and cost drivers across cost pools, towers, vendors, labor, and capabilities.

This dashboard delivers full cost transparency at the solution offering level, allowing stakeholders to understand where spend originates, how it trends over time, and which components contribute most to total offering cost.

KPIs

Solution Spend (YTD)

Total year-to-date spend for the selected solution offering.

Prior Year Spend (YTD)

Year-to-date spend in the prior year.

Variance (YTD)

Difference between current year spend (YTD) and prior year spend (YTD).

Total Prior Year Spend

Total spend for the prior year.

Solution Offering

Selected solution offering name and its unique identifier

Solution Type

High-level classification of the solution

Solution Category

The category the solution belongs to within its solution type

Solution Name

The solution’s hierarchy name

Offering Type

Identifies the offering subtype within solution offering

Unit of Measure

The unit used to represent the solution’s consumption

Active

Indicates whether the solution offering is currently active.

Charts and tables

Selecting any data point in a chart allows you to drill down into a more detailed view of the selected element.

Spend Model

The Spend Model uses a Sankey-style flow to visually show how spend moves through your TBM structure.

Hover over any section to view detailed values.

Monthly Spend

The Monthly Spend chart shows the month-on-month trend and the cumulative year to date spend. Spend is shown as total spend and prior year spend for each month. The cumulative dotted spend line predicts spend for future months based on historic spend.

Click on any spend column to drill into the month and see the spend broken down for the month.

Vendors

The Vendors chart shows a breakdown of spend by vendors for the given filter criteria.

Click on any vendor to drill into related GL transaction.

Labor

The Labor chart shows a breakdown of solution offering spend by labor category. The labor spend is shown as YTD spend and prior year YTD spend at cost pool and sub cost pool level.

Cost Pools

The Cost Pools chart shows the cumulative year to date spend and prior year to date spend broken down by TBM Cost Pool.

Click on any cost pool column to drill into the related GL transactions.

Capability

This chart shows YTD spend and prior spend for the selected solution, broken down by capability type (Applications, Products, or Services). The chart highlights how costs from the filtered capability type roll up into the selected offering.

The Towers chart shows the cumulative year to date spend and prior year to date spend broken down by TBM Tower.

Solution Spend Details

This chart shows the solution spend trend for month-on-month. Spend is shown as total spend, prior year spend and variance for each month for the filtered solution offering.
