Forecast Activity Logs

Use this article to understand how to track forecast changes across teams and months.

The Activity Logs page provides a searchable audit trail of forecast modifications. It helps you understand when a forecast changed, which team was affected, who made the change, and what values were updated.

Activity Logs are useful when you need to validate a recent change, review update history before discussing variance, or trace how a team’s forecast evolved over time.

What the log shows

Each log entry can include:

  • Date and time of the update.

  • User who made the change.

  • Team name.

  • Forecasted month.

  • Previous forecast amount.

  • Updated forecast amount.

  • Forecast discrepancy or variance context.

  • Comment added with the change.

How to filter the logs

You can filter the logs by using the following criteria:

  • Teams

  • Months

Use filters when you want to narrow the audit view to a specific team, review one forecast month, or reduce noise before exporting or discussing the changes.

How to search the logs

Use the search option to find specific entries by relevant keywords. This is helpful when you already know part of a team name, a user name, or a comment value and want to find matching activity quickly.

When to use Forecast Activity Logs

Use this page when you need to:

  • Check whether a forecast was recently updated.

  • Confirm who changed a forecast amount.

  • Review comments entered during forecast updates.

  • Investigate why a forecast no longer matches an earlier discussion or review.

No data on the page

If the page shows no data, review the selected year and applied filters. A blank state usually means there are no matching forecast updates for the current selection or the selected teams do not yet have activity in that period.
