Budget Overview

The Budget Overview dashboard provides a multi-year view of budget planning and forecasting across Cost Centers, Accounts, Vendors, and monthly periods. The dashboard displays budget information for up to five years.

Who should use this dashboard?

The Budget Overview dashboard is intended for Finance teams, IT Finance analysts, Budget Owners, Cost Center Managers, and Technology Leadership teams who are responsible for budget planning, forecasting, and financial governance across the organisation.

What is this dashboard used for?

This dashboard is used to review and analyse multi-year budget allocations across Cost Centers, Accounts, Vendors, and monthly periods. It helps you monitor budget growth trends, compare year-over-year changes, evaluate vendor and account-level budget distribution, and support long-term financial planning and forecasting activities.

What questions does this Dashboard answer?

Each KPI shows annual budget values for multiple years, the total budget, and the percentage change from the previous year.

Top 20 Cost Centers

The Top 20 Cost Centers chart displays the highest budget allocations by Cost Center across multiple years. Each year budget is visually represented by a distinct color.

The Top 20 Accounts chart provides a breakdown of budget by Account. This helps you analyze planned budgets distribution across financial accounts over multiple years.
