The Cost Pool Budget RAG Status report provides a visual breakdown of RAG (Red, Amber, Green) statuses by Sub Cost Pool. This dashboard gives users a quick health check of Cost Pool performance by comparing Spend YTD against Budget YTD and highlighting areas that may require financial attention or review.
The report is designed to help you rapidly identify Cost Pools and Sub Cost Pools that are over budget, close to budget thresholds, or operating within acceptable budget limits.
Understanding the RAG indicators
The dashboard uses RAG status indicators to visually represent budget health:
-
Green — Spend is within acceptable budget thresholds
-
Amber — Spend is approaching budget limits and may require monitoring
-
Red — Spend has exceeded budget thresholds and requires attention
These indicators allow you to quickly focus on high-risk Cost Pools without needing to review detailed financial reports.
