Cost Transparency Overview (Prior Year)

The Cost Transparency Overview (Prior Year) dashboard provides a breakdown of all cost allocations based on the TBM model your organization has implemented. This allows you to view your total cost from a Finance, IT or Business focused lens and compare it to the prior year YTD spend.

What is this dashboard used for?

This dashboard shows a high level of year-to-date spend using the TBM Taxonomy. Spend is broken down by Cost Pools, Towers, Solutions and Business Capabilities. You can also compare the YTD spend with the prior year spend.

What questions does this Dashboard answer?

• What is the broken-down Cost Pool, Tower, Solution and Business spending year-to-date?

• How does the year-to-date spend compare to the prior year-to-date spend?

Key Benefits

This dashboard can be used as part of monthly business reporting, financial analysis, and variance analysis. It provides the high-level detail needed to spot anomalies and the drill-down capability to analyze underlying detail to support the investigation of anomalies.

Clicking on any of the chart data bars allows you to drill down into a detailed overview of the selected element.

Cost Pools

The Cost Pools chart shows the cumulative YTD spend and prior year YTD spend broken down by cost pool.

Click on any cost pool to drill further into the spend for the cost pool.

Towers

The Tower chart shows the cumulative YTD spend and prior year YTD spend broken down by tower. Click on any tower to drill further into the spend for the tower.

Solutions

The Solution chart shows the cumulative Year to Date spend and Prior Year to Date spend broken down by Solutions. Click on any Solution column to drill further into the spend for the solution.

Business Capabilities

The Business Capabilities chart provides a comparison between YTD Spend vs. Prior Year Spend (YTD) for every business capability. The Business Capabilities are also shown in tabular form at the bottom of the dashboard.
