On-Prem Vendor Spend

The On-Prem Vendor Spend report provides an overview of on-prem spend for a filtered vendor. This allows you to see a detailed breakdown of your on-prem spend for a particular vendor.

This report is accessed by drilling down from the Vendors chart in the On-Prem TCO dashboard and is scoped to a selected vendor.

KPIs

Charts and tables

Selecting any data point in a chart allows you to drill down into a more detailed view of the selected element.

Spend Model

The Spend Model uses a Sankey-style flow to visually show how spend moves through your TBM structure.

Hover over any section to view detailed values.

Monthly Spend

This chart shows the monthly trend for month-on-month and cumulative year to date spend. Spend is shown as total spend and prior year spend for each month.

Click on any month column to drill into the transaction level spend for the month.

Monthly Spend By Platform

This chart shows the monthly spend by the hosting platform on the On-Prem infrastructure.

Click on any column to drill into the transaction level spend for the month.

On-Prem as a Percentage of Total IT Spend

The On-Prem as a Percentage of Total IT Spend chart shows the total On-Prem Spend as a percentage of total IT spend. The chart compares the total on-prem spend with the total IT spend and shows the value in terms of amount and percentage.

Cost Pools

The Cost Pools chart shows the cumulative year to date spend and prior year to date spend broken down by TBM Cost Pool.

Click on any cost pool column to drill into the related GL transactions.

Towers

This chart shows the cumulative year to date spend and prior year to date spend broken down by tower for the given filter criteria.

Click on any tower to drill down to the transaction level.

Vendor Spend Details

This table shows the vendor spend trend for month-on-month spend. Spend is shown as total spend and prior year spend for each month for the filtered vendor.

Click on any row to drill into the transaction level spend for the month.

Applications

The Applications table shows applications that consume on-prem resources and are hosted on on-prem platforms. This view includes applications where the hosting platform is mapped to the Mainframe and Server asset type.

Products

The Products table shows products that consume on-prem resources and are hosted on on-prem platforms. This view includes products where the hosting platform is mapped to the Mainframe and Server asset type.

Services

The Services table shows services that consume on-prem resources and are hosted on on-prem platforms. This view includes services where the hosting platform is mapped to the Mainframe and Server asset type.
