The Cloud TCO dashboard provides a comprehensive view of cloud-related spend across the organization. It helps you understand how cloud costs are distributed across cost pools, towers, platforms, vendors, applications, products, and services, and how that spend compares year over year.

This dashboard is designed to give clear visibility into total cloud cost of ownership, enabling better cost control, accountability, and optimization.

Scope

The Cloud TCO dashboard includes:

• Spend from Cloud asset type

• Cloud assets where the hosting platform is configured as cloud providers (for example, AWS, Azure, or GCP)

KPIs

Charts and tables

Selecting any data point in a chart allows you to drill down into a more detailed view of the selected element.

Spend Model

The Spend Model uses a Sankey-style flow to visually show how spend moves through your TBM structure.

Hover over any section to view detailed values.

Monthly Spend

The Monthly Spend chart shows the month-on-month trend and the cumulative year to date spend. Spend is shown as total spend and prior year spend for each month. The cumulative dotted spend line predicts spend for future months based on historic spend.

Click on any spend column to drill into the month and see the spend broken down for the month.

Monthly Spend By Platform

This chart shows the monthly spend by the hosting platform for the cloud asset.

Click on any hosting platform to drill further into the Cloud Platform Spend report.

Vendors

The Vendor chart shows the cloud spend broken down by the vendors. The spend for each vendor is shown as spend YTD and prior year spend YTD.

Click on any vendor to drill into Cloud Vendor Spend report.

Cloud as a Percentage of Total IT Spend

The Cloud as a Percentage of Total IT Spend shows the total cloud spend as a percentage of total IT spend. Cloud spend in this chart is calculated using costs classified under the Cloud Service Provider sub cost pool.

Applications

The Applications table shows applications that consume cloud resources and are hosted on cloud platforms. This view includes applications where the hosting platform is mapped to the Cloud asset type.

Products

The Products table shows products that consume cloud resources and are hosted on cloud platforms. This view includes products where the hosting platform is mapped to the Cloud asset type.

Services

The Services table shows services that consume cloud resources and are hosted on cloud platforms. This view includes services where the hosting platform is mapped to the Cloud asset type.
