The Cloud Tower Spend report provides an overview of cloud spend for a given tower. This allows you to see a detailed breakdown of your cloud spend for a selected tower.
This report is accessed by drilling down from the Tower chart in the Cloud TCO dashboard and is scoped to a selected tower.

KPIs
Charts and tables
Selecting any data point in a chart allows you to drill down into a more detailed view of the selected element.
Spend Model
The Spend Model uses a Sankey-style flow to visually show how spend moves through your TBM structure.
Hover over any section to view detailed values.
Monthly Spend
This chart shows the monthly trend for month-on-month and cumulative year to date spend. Spend is shown as total spend and prior year spend for each month.
Click on any month column to drill into the transaction level spend for the month.
Monthly Spend By Platform
This chart shows the monthly spend by the hosting platforms on the cloud asset.
Click on any column to drill into the transaction level spend for the month.
Vendors
The Vendors chart shows a breakdown of spend by vendors for the given filter criteria.
Click on any vendor to drill into related GL transaction.
Cloud as a Percentage of Total IT Spend
The Cloud as a Percentage of Total IT Spend shows the total cloud spend as a percentage of total IT spend. Cloud spend in this chart is calculated using costs classified under the Cloud Service Provider sub cost pool.
Cost Pools
The Cost Pools chart shows the cumulative year to date spend and prior year to date spend broken down by TBM Cost Pool.

Tower Spend Details
This chart shows the tower spend trend for month-on-month. Spend is shown as total spend, prior year spend and variance for each month for the filtered Tower.
Click on any row to drill into the transaction level spend for the month.
Cloud Resources
The Cloud Resources table lists all resources and their associated spend for the filtered tower. The spend amount is derived from the cloud spend distribution to cloud assets. Each cloud resource has a clickable link that takes you to the cloud provider’s portal to check out the resource details, such as subscription, location, resource status, and other information.
Access to the cloud provider’s portal from the resource table depends on the level of permission given to the user by their organization.
Applications
The Applications table shows applications that consume cloud resources and are hosted on cloud platforms. This view includes applications where the hosting platform is mapped to the Cloud asset type.
Products
The Products table shows products that consume cloud resources and are hosted on cloud platforms. This view includes products where the hosting platform is mapped to the Cloud asset type.
Services
The Services table shows services that consume cloud resources and are hosted on cloud platforms. This view includes services where the hosting platform is mapped to the Cloud asset type.
