The Account Access screen allows administrators to control which accounts a user can view and manage within YäRKEN.
By assigning specific accounts from Account Access page to a user, you ensure they can access only the data relevant to those accounts across dashboards, reports, and planning views.
This access control supports data security, accurate reporting, and role-based visibility across the platform.
To access data effectively, users must be granted both Account Access and Cost Center Access. Newly created users do not have any accounts assigned by default and must be explicitly configured by an administrator.
How Account Access works

Accounts are sourced from Master Data.

Each user can be assigned one or more accounts.

Users can view and analyze only the data associated with their assigned accounts.

Account access applies across:
-
Dashboards
-
Reports
-
Planning and analytics views
-

Accounts that are not assigned remain hidden from the user.
Assign accounts to a user
Use this workflow to grant account-level access to a specific user.
Procedure

Navigate to Admin > User Management > Account Access.

From the Users list on the left, select the user you want to assign account.

The screen displays two panels:

Available Accounts — accounts not yet assigned to the user

Assigned Accounts — accounts the user currently has access to

In the Available Accounts panel:

Use search or scrolling to locate accounts.

Select one or more accounts using the checkboxes.

Use the right arrow (→) to move the selected accounts to the Assigned Accounts panel.

Click SAVE to apply the changes.
Once saved, the user can view data only for the assigned accounts.
View assigned and unassigned accounts
For any selected user, you can quickly review account access:

Available Accounts
Displays accounts the user does not currently have access to. -
Assigned Accounts
Displays accounts the user can view and manage.
This makes it easy to audit access and update assignments as responsibilities change.
Update or remove account access
You can modify a user’s account access at any time.
Remove access

Select the user.

In the Assigned Accounts panel, select the accounts to remove.

Use the left arrow (←) to move them back to Available Accounts.

Click SAVE.
Changes take effect immediately.
Account access visibility
Once an account is assigned, the user can:

View only data linked to that account across dashboards and reports

Analyze spend, usage, and planning data associated with the account

Work exclusively with the accounts they have been explicitly granted access to
