Teams

The Cloud Teams page allows administrators to define and manage teams used specifically for Cloud Forecasting in YäRKEN.

Cloud Teams represent the organizational groups responsible for cloud usage and spend. Once teams are configured, you can forecast cloud spend and publish actual cloud costs against these teams—enabling team-level reporting.

What Cloud Teams are used for

Cloud Teams are a core component of the Cloud Forecasting workflow. They enable you to:

• Attribute cloud spend to the correct team

• Forecast future cloud costs by team

• Publish and track actual cloud spend against forecasted values

• Analyze team-level cloud cost trends and variances

Without Cloud Teams configured, cloud spend cannot be forecasted or published at the team level.

View existing Cloud Teams

The Cloud Teams screen displays all configured teams in a tabular view with the following details:

• Name – The Cloud Team name

• Description – A brief description of the team’s responsibility

• Actions – Options to edit or delete the team

Use the search field to quickly locate a specific team.

Create a Cloud Team

Procedure

1. Navigate to Admin > User Management > Cloud Teams.

2. Click + ADD NEW.

3. In the New Team dialog:

   • Name – Enter a unique team name.

   • Description – (Optional) Add a brief description of the team’s role or ownership.

4. Click SAVE.

The Cloud Team is created and is immediately available for cloud forecasting and spend publishing.

Edit a Cloud Team

You can update Cloud Team details at any time.

1. Locate the team in the list.

2. Click the Edit icon.

3. Update the team name or description as needed.

4. Click SAVE.

Changes apply immediately and are reflected in cloud forecasting views.

Delete a Cloud Team

If a Cloud Team is no longer required, it can be removed.

1. Locate the team in the list.

2. Click the Delete icon.

3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

When to use Cloud Teams

Use Cloud Teams when you want to:

• Forecast cloud spend by team or ownership group

• Publish cloud spend against responsible teams

• Track accountability for cloud cost management

• Enable team-level cloud cost reporting and analysis
