Once asset data is loaded, you can view, edit, delete, copy, or download asset records.
Before making changes, confirm the selected asset type, month, and year. Asset data is month-specific, and updates apply to the selected period only.
Editing or deleting an asset that is already used in allocation may cause the related spend to become stranded at the Tower level. Review and update dependent rules or mappings before changing the Asset ID, Asset Name, or deleting the asset.

-

Impact of changing Asset ID or Asset Name
If the asset is already used in Tower allocation, changing the Asset ID or Asset Name may break the allocation. In this case, the related spend becomes stranded at the Tower level and cannot flow further to other assets, Solution Offerings, Solutions, or Consumers.
You may see the following message when checking the asset breakdown from the Destination column in Tower rules:
Before changing Asset ID or Asset Name, confirm that the asset is not already used in Tower rules, Asset rules, Asset mapping, or downstream allocation.

Impact of deleting an allocated asset
Deleting an asset that is already used in Tower allocation can break the allocation flow. When the asset reference (ID or Name) is no longer available, the related spend becomes stranded at the Tower level and cannot be distributed further.
This means the spend will not continue to:
