Cost Pool Application Spend

The Cost Pool Application Spend report provides an overview of application spend for a selected cost pool. This helps you analyze how application spend is structured within a specific cost pool and how it has changed compared to the prior year

This report is accessed by drilling down from the Cost Pools chart in the Application Portfolio dashboard and is scoped to a selected cost pool.

KPIs

Charts and tables

Selecting any data point in a chart allows you to drill down into a more detailed view of the selected element.

Monthly Spend

This chart shows the monthly trend for month-on-month and cumulative year to date spend. Spend is shown as total spend and prior year spend for each month.

Click on any month column to drill into the transaction level spend for the month.

Monthly Hosting Spend

This chart shows a detailed breakdown of the monthly spend by hosting types for the filtered criteria. The hosting types include Cloud, Mainframe, SaaS, and Virtual.

Click on any month to drill into transaction level spend for the given hosting type.

Applications

This chart shows the cumulative YTD spend and prior year YTD spend broken down by application.

Sub Cost Pools

This chart shows the cumulative year to date spend and prior year to date broken down by sub cost pool.

Click on any sub cost pool to drill into related GL transaction.

Towers

The Towers chart shows the cumulative year to date spend and prior year to date spend broken down by TBM Tower.

Top 20 Cost Centers

This chart shows the cumulative YTD spend and prior year YTD spend broken down by cost centers.

Click on a cost centers to see a drill down to the transaction level.

Spend by Purpose

This table shows the application spend broken down by application purpose. Spend is shown as YTD spend and prior year YTD.
