Monthly Application Spend

The Monthly Application Spend report provides an overview of your application spend for a selected month. It enables you to analyze how application costs are distributed, compare performance against the prior year, and identify the applications, cost centers, cost pools, and towers driving monthly spend.

This report is accessed by drilling down from the Monthly Spend chart in the Application Portfolio dashboard and is scoped to a selected month.

KPIs

Spend (YTD)

Total application spend for the selected year to date

Total Prior Year Spend

Total spend for the prior year.

Prior Year Spend (YTD)

Year-to-date spend in the prior year.

Variance (YTD)

Difference between current year spend (YTD) and prior year spend (YTD).

Potential Savings

Expected cost savings that could be achieved by following the recommendations.

Realized Savings

Actual cost savings achieved by implementing the recommendations.

This chart shows the cumulative YTD spend and prior year YTD spend broken down by application.

Cost Pools

The Cost Pools chart shows the cumulative year to date spend and prior year to date spend broken down by TBM Cost Pool.

Top 20 Cost Centers

This chart shows the cumulative YTD spend and prior year YTD spend broken down by cost centers.

Click on a cost centers to see a drill down to the transaction level.

Spend by Purpose

This table shows the application spend broken down by application purpose. Spend is shown as YTD spend and prior year YTD.

Click on any purpose to drill into the related GL transaction.

Towers

The Towers chart shows the cumulative year to date spend and prior year to date spend broken down by TBM Tower.
