Hosting Application Spend

The Hosting Application Spend report provides an overview of application spend for a selected hosting type. This report helps analyze how application spend is structured within a specific hosting environment and how it has changed compared to the prior year.

This report is accessed by drilling down from the Monthly Hosting Spend chart in the Application Portfolio dashboard and is scoped to a selected hosting type.

KPIs

Spend (YTD)

Total application spend for the selected year to date

Total Prior Year Spend

Total spend for the prior year.

Prior Year Spend (YTD)

Year-to-date spend in the prior year.

Variance (YTD)

Difference between current year spend (YTD) and prior year spend (YTD).

Potential Savings

Expected cost savings that could be achieved by following the recommendations.

Realized Savings

Actual cost savings achieved by implementing the recommendations.

Monthly Spend

This chart shows the monthly trend for month-on-month and cumulative year to date spend. Spend is shown as total spend and prior year spend for each month.

Click on any month column to drill into the transaction level spend for the month.

Top 20 Applications

The Top 20 Applications chart shows the top 20 applications by spend from most to least spend. Spend for each application is shown as spend YTD, prior year YTD and variance.

Cost Pools

The Cost Pools chart shows the cumulative year to date spend and prior year to date spend broken down by TBM Cost Pool.

Top 20 Cost Centers

This chart shows the cumulative YTD spend and prior year YTD spend broken down by cost centers.

Click on a cost centers to see a drill down to the transaction level.

Spend by Purpose

This table shows the application spend broken down by application purpose. Spend is shown as YTD spend and prior year YTD.

Click on any purpose to drill into the related GL transaction.

Towers

The Towers chart shows the cumulative year to date spend and prior year to date spend broken down by TBM Tower.
