It enables you to analyse year-to-date (YTD) application costs, compare performance against prior year spend, and understand how spend is distributed across hosting types, cost pools, cost centres, towers, and business purpose. The dashboard combines high-level KPIs with detailed breakdowns to support financial visibility and cost transparency across the application landscape.

KPIs
Charts and tables
Selecting any data point in a chart allows you to drill down into a more detailed view of the selected element.
Monthly Spend
The Monthly Spend chart shows the month-on-month trend and the cumulative year to date spend. Spend is shown as total spend and prior year spend for each month. The cumulative dotted spend line predicts spend for future months based on historic spend.
Click on any spend column to drill into the month and see the spend broken down for the month.
Monthly Hosting Spend
The Monthly Hosting Spend chart shows monthly application spend broken down by hosting type (Cloud, Mainframe, SaaS, and Virtual) for the selected year. The columns are stacked to show different hosting type available within a month.

Top 20 Applications
The Top 20 Applications chart shows the top 20 applications by spend from most to least spend. Spend for each application is shown as spend YTD, prior year spend YTD and variance.

Cost Pools
The Cost Pools chart shows the cumulative YTD spend and prior year YTD spend broken down by cost pool.

Top 20 Cost Centers
The Top 20 Cost Centers chart shows the top 20 cost centers from most to least spend. Spend for each cost center is shown as YTD and prior year YTD.

This table shows the application spend broken down by application purpose. Spend is shown as YTD spend and prior year YTD spend.
