Notification Channel Groups

Notification Channel Groups define how Yarken distributes platform notifications, Insights alerts, and operational updates to users and teams.

Use Notification Channel Groups to organize recipients, standardize communication flows, and manage notification delivery across email, Slack, and Microsoft Teams channels.

These groups help administrators maintain consistent alert routing and improve governance across operational and financial workflows.


Access Notification Channel Groups

To open Notification Channel Groups:

  1. Navigate to Admin

  2. Select Settings

  3. Open Notification Channel Groups

The page displays all configured notification groups available in the environment.

Administrators can:

  • Create notification groups

  • Configure delivery channels

  • Enable or disable groups

  • Manage recipient routing

  • Support operational alerting workflows


Understand Notification Channel Groups

A Notification Channel Group controls how notifications are routed to users, teams, or external communication platforms.

Each group contains:

  • Group name

  • Description

  • Channel type

  • Associated delivery destination

  • Enabled status

  • Ownership information

Groups are commonly used for:

Microsoft Teams destinations must first be configured under Notification Channels.


Create a Notification Channel Group

To create a new group:

  1. Open Settings → Notification Channel Groups

  2. Select Add New

  3. Enter the required information:

    • Name

    • Description

    • Channel Type

    • Recipients or Destination

    • Enabled status

  4. Save the group

Once created, the group becomes available for supported notification and Insights workflows.


Manage Notification Channel Groups

Administrators can update existing groups to maintain alignment with operational or reporting requirements.
