Prepare your Okta environment for Yarken

Prepare your Okta environment before configuring Okta SSO with Yarken. Confirm that you have the required access, gather the values provided by Yarken, and be ready to securely share the Okta application details after setup.

  • A deployed Yarken environment.

  • The redirect URLs provided by the Yarken implementation team.

Confirm that your Okta account has sufficient permissions to:

Information provided by Yarken

Before configuring the application, obtain the following values from the Yarken implementation team.

Sign-out Redirect URI

URL used after users sign out of Yarken. Example: https://<your-subdomain>.yarken.com/auth/logout

Important: Use the redirect URIs provided for your Yarken environment. The URLs shown above are examples.

Information you'll provide to Yarken

During the configuration process, you'll obtain the following information from Okta:

Unique identifier for the Okta application.

Client Secret

Secret used by Yarken to authenticate with Okta.

Okta tenant domain

Your organization's Okta domain, for example, company.okta.com.

You'll securely share these values with the Yarken implementation team after configuring the application.

Important: Treat the Client Secret as sensitive information. Use your organization's approved secure communication method when sharing it with Yarken.
