The Unallocated Asset Spend view helps you identify asset-level spend that has not yet been distributed to Applications, Products, or Services. This view is critical for ensuring that all asset spend can flow downstream to Solution Offerings.
This option is available from the ellipsis (… ) menu on the month tile.
When to use View Unallocated Asset Spend
Use this view when:

Solution costs are lower than expected
-
Spend appears stuck at the asset level

You want to validate whether all asset spend has been consolidated

You are preparing to create Asset rules or Asset mappings
Procedure

Select the required month tile under Towers.

Click the ellipsis (… ) menu.

Select View Unallocated Asset Spend.
The application opens the UNALLOCATED ASSET SPEND tab for the selected month.
What you see in this view
The Unallocated Asset Spend view displays asset-level spend that has not been mapped further, including:

Asset Type (for example, Databases, Software, Hardware)

Asset Code identifying the asset

Asset Name

Loaded Date

Allocation Portion

Allocated Spend

Unallocated Portion

You can use:

Search to locate specific assets

Filters to narrow down asset types or Towers
Next steps for unallocated spend
When you identify unallocated spend, then

Create Asset Rules to dynamically distribute the unallocated spend

Upload Asset Mapping files to explicitly map asset-to-asset spend

Validate that spend is correctly consolidated into Applications, Products, or Services
Once unallocated asset spend is distributed, it can flow automatically to Solution Offerings.
