FAQs
Q: What file formats are supported?
A: Contract Document Extraction currently supports PDF documents. Upload complete, readable PDF files for the best extraction results.
Q: Can I upload multiple contracts at the same time?
A: Yes. You can upload multiple PDF files in a single operation. Contracts are processed automatically, and additional files may remain in the processing queue until resources become available.
Q: Why does my contract require review?
A: A contract is marked Need Review when Yarken cannot confidently extract one or more values or when additional validation is required. Review the highlighted fields before publishing the contract.
Q: Can I edit extracted information?
A: Yes. Before publishing, you can update extracted fields in the Analysis window to ensure the contract information is accurate.
Q: Can I publish a contract without reviewing it?
A: Although you can publish a completed contract, Yarken recommends reviewing all extracted information, especially vendor details, contract dates, and financial values, before publishing.
Q: Can I recover a discarded contract?
A: No. Once a contract has been discarded, it is removed from the extraction workflow. To process it again, upload the original PDF.
Q: Can I ask questions about unpublished contracts?
A: No. Contract Explorer is available for published contracts. Publish the contract before using Ask AI to analyze its content.
Q: Does Contract Explorer replace contract review?
A: No. Contract Explorer helps you locate and understand information within a published contract. It does not replace the review and validation process performed before publishing.
